Many U-M community members received this email on the date below. This message is not from U-M. Do not respond, do not click on any link, and immediately delete it.

  • If you have already clicked on the link and entered any personal information—including your UMICH password—immediately change your password AND contact 4-HELP. An ITS Service Representative will check your account for any malicious activity that may already have been carried out by the sender of the phishing message.
  • If you have any concern that your email account may be compromised, contact 4-HELP.

Dear email user,

This message is from Web-mail IT Help Desk message center to all our email subscribers. This is to inform you that we are currently running upgrade on our e-mail server, we remove accounts to create space for new ones. For this reason every user can afford to upgrade immediately. Failure to do so will lose his / her email account.

To upgrade / re-validation, click UPGRADE and fill out the information

1. To Add storage to your account Click UPGRADE [LINK REMOVED] now
2. Select your email provider and sign-in to upgrade your account.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to purchase. If you do not have this option, contact your email administrator.
